Stella & I were cool. I miss my Battery Park baby; I was her nanny 2005-2007. I used to take her to FAO Schwartz and we would play with everything, buy nothing, and leave. All the time. Miss it so much. I can’t believe I didn’t realize how amazing things were while they were happening.
Today was my last day of work. Also Chika used my hair for Elle Japan. A very good day for me! Thank you!!!! <3 Maybe I will turn to a career in modeling. Just kidding. ;P Time to relaxxxxxx.
My last day of work is Wednesday. I resigned from my job. Shhh. I think my dad is freaked out. Oh well.

Going back to work after almost a month off has been kind of tough, especially with all of these difficult meetings. FYI to all: I can’t cure the following with my magic wand- autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, developmental delays, mental retardation, apraxia, etc. However, I am awesome at giving therapy and helping kids learn how to compensate so get off mah back dudes.

Sigh. Very very anxious morning. 3 IEPs, 6 groups, and intense worries about Monday.

I’m a tired SLP. Spent the day making picture exchange cards for non-verbal students with autism, giving therapy, collaborating with teachers, and getting sneezed on multiple times by preschoolers. (Self- please don’t catch a cold before Thanksgiving!!)
Some of my equipment at work is a little outdated but I’m into it. Want to take this home so badly.
Today was a bizarre day. We went into a 2 hr lockdown at the elementary school because someone threw a rock through the 3rd floor window of a 5th grade classroom. One of my speech therapy students was in there; he told me no one was hurt because the blinds blocked the glass. Ridiculous.
The good news is we have a 3 day weekend and fall leaves are showing up a little bit in Los Angeles! Hug a vet this weekend! I’ll be missing my brother Steven, who is a U.S. Marine serving in Afghanistan right now.
I wore this to one of the elementary schools I work at in Los Angeles on Halloween (I’m a speech therapist). I got to march around at the end of the school Halloween parade with the teachers and all of the kids were freaking out- about FINN. I felt like such a celebrity with everyone yelling FINN! FINN! I got to high five about 1000 kids. I kept asking them, “What time is it?!?!” and they were screaming back, “Adventure Time.” It was amazing.
